Our Add-Ins will return in June of 2007 Introduction Our Extract-IT Excel add-in allows you to select multiple ranges of worksheet data then surgically remove text and numbers from those data ranges. Extract-IT is excellent for extracting data locked in imported database information and sentences like account numbers, serial numbers, dates…etc. Extract-IT retrieves the data you want by locking onto a key extraction character in your data then extracting the remaining data around the character. You can even set what instance of the extraction character to lock in on if it is repeated several times within the data. When outputting the results, Extract-IT allows you to output to a new worksheet range or overwrite the selected data. What Is New In Version 6.0 Extract-IT now uses our active cell technology. This means you can launch Extract-IT, leave it open and maneuver around in Excel without closing it. Extract-IT will work on the active cell or active range(s) you select. Extract-IT version 6.0 also has improved speed and error protection and a new overwrite feature, which allows you to overwrite the data you selected.
