Excel Add-In Extract-IT allows you to select
multiple ranges of worksheet data then surgically remove text and numbers from
those data ranges. Extract-IT is excellent for extracting data locked in
imported database information and sentences like account numbers, serial
numbers, dates…etc. Extract-IT retrieves the data you want by locking onto a key
extraction character in your data then extracting the remaining data around the
character. You can even set what instance of the extraction character to lock in
on if it is repeated several times within the data. When outputting the results,
Extract-IT allows you to output to a new worksheet range or overwrite the
